Default Rules of Conduct ?

First of all this post of mine is about the ebay buying/selling and BOT using, also know as macro-software.. what they do ? simple they record your mousemovement and keycommands and auto replay them.µ

First all I heard, Selling guild wars money for real life mone is against the rules of conduct.. so is buying and the punishment is that your account will get banned.. Either this is a big lie! or arenanet is mistaken, and for banning by this they can be sued since they clearly didn't state it that it was AGAINST the rules ? or did i miss it on the rules of conduct pages and other pages of the official website ? XD

Also as you know if your on European servers, that there are several monks with simular names, all in the same guild, simular names and all in same district solo farming trolls ? So we cna assume the guy uses a bot... Also again, people say its against the rules and stuff and your account can get banned for this but again! nothing can be found about this... its not a form of cheating.. the guy actually did farm it.. but now the program does all the work for you..

Its all a bit weird, Arenanet should be more detailed about their rules of conduct and terms of services..

NOTE: I DON'T INTEND OF DOING ANY OF THE ABOVE -> IT RUINS THE GAME!

!
YOU MISSED IT

besides that here it is explained clearly

Quote:
The second way that wealth distribution becomes a problem is when players use bots to farm gold around the clock. This is obviously unfair to the vast majority of players who play the game normally. We have no tolerance for bots. We constantly monitor for bots; we have tools that help us to easily identify them; and when we find people using bots, we permanently ban their accounts. This whole process is largely invisible to the average player, but behind the scenes, we’re regularly banning accounts for using bots.
just try to sue

Stated clearly, in the official User Agreement you're supposed to both understand and sign before you start playing the game:

Bots don't use forums, it's no use telling us this, most are aware of what the EULA states concerning this.

I never read the EULA in details, but even I know NC Soft would've had, beyond any reasonable doubt, the full legal rights to suspend, terminate, or ban any account as they see fit. It would've been the first thing an mmorpg game company would do.

Espirit i think that Sunais post was in response to the first post and EULA is always good to read.

My post was directed at the OP's rant.

Check the international districts and the American districts. Constant stream of Mo/W's with undyed full body tatoos running out into Talus Shoot. You can't tell me that none of those are bots.
